Nigeris-Basketball-Federation Plans Extension Of Zenith Bank Ladies Basketball League

The Nigeria Basketball Organization (NBBF) is wanting to grow the 2023 release of the Public Women Basketball League supported by Peak Bank plc so as to work on the nature of the groups that will contend in the tip top Women league.

In the new plan, a sum of 34 women groups will contend in two Meetings charged for Benin and Zaria separately.

Samuel Ogbemudia Arena Benin is the setting of the Atlantic Gathering charged to begin on June 1 similarly as the Ahmadu Bello College, Zaria, will have the Savannah Meeting later in the month.

Eight groups are supposed to fit the bill for the Savannah and Atlantic Meeting of the Peak Women Basketball League while the excess will presently play for the Division 1 of the league.

Talking on the turn of events, NBBF President, Musa Kida, said it was pointed toward fortifying the whole women league and the Peak League specifically.

“The primers are heldentenor to the first class ones. We have groups that will meet all requirements for the legitimate League groups (8 from every gathering) from the 34 inconsistent women’s groups.

The others will become Division I women while the Pinnacle Women League legitimate will begin after we recognize all groups that qualify from the prelims,” Kida said.

The support, Pinnacle Bank, has communicated trust in the new game plan of the NBBF for the 2023 release.

Bunch overseeing head of the bank, Ebenezer Onyeagwu, said: “The objective has forever been to improve the opposition with each version thus we are glad that the NBBF is chipping away at making the women’s league more grounded.”
